Neotel has officially launched its NeoMetro Link solution to the enterprise market, aimed at addressing the limitations of available services, and at increasing the efficiency of business networks in the main metropolitan areas of South Africa as part of Neotels broader enterprise offering. NeoMetro Link is offered as a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint, fully converged solution, offering connectivity between customer sites within the same metropolitan area as well as access to Neotels bouquet of IP based services. Neotel has been deploying fibre within Sandton, Rosebank, Randburg, Pretoria Central, Johannesburg Central, Cape Town Central, Durban Central and Umhlanga to ensure readiness to deliver services to the enterprise customers within these areas. To date, Neotel has access to approximately 13,000km of optic fibre across the country. With this much fibre deployed, Neotel is now delivering up to 1gbps of capacity to any customer, anywhere in the country. Neotels converged Next Generation Network offers customers multiple services through one connection and interaction with a single service provider. This ensures affordability, reliability, flexibility, scalability and high-bandwidth services, which are differentiators in todays competitive business market.
