The Tata Group’s plans for Africa include a soluble
coffee-processing factory at Jinja, Uganda. The greenfield
project is a joint venture between Tata Africa and Tata
Coffee. The plant will have an annual output of 3,600 tonnes
meant for export to markets in China, Scandinavia and East
Europe.
